After traveling the world in search of the most extraordinary raw materials, Gian Luca Perris found inspiration in the seductive rural landscapes of Southern Italy, creating ARANCIA DI SICILIA in 2019. An olfactory jewel from Italy, the most iconic citrus fruit from Sicily : blood orange.

Cultivated on the slopes of Mount Etna, the fruit that grows there stands out for its intense red color and aromatic sweetness, with which an exceptional oil is produced. The blood orange is the most emblematic citrus fruit of Sicily. Of unparalleled freshness, for all nature lovers, with a cheerful and authentic character.

Since 1980, a family business has stood out as the leading producer of citrus essential oils. Through 2 extraction methods, Capua brings to life the pure essence of this sweet orange. With the first method, the essential brown oil is extracted from the peel without coming into contact with the juice of the fruit that will be used for beverages. The second method of extraction is applied at the end of the growing season. The whole fruit is passed through a press that mixes the oil from the peel with the juice. The juice is then separated from the pulp and finally centrifuged to separate the oil from the juice.

After this complex and technical process, these 2 very different essential oils are blended into ARANCIA DI SICILIA by PERRIS MONTE CARLO. A tribute to the fruit symbol of Sicily.

The heart of the essence expands with almond, vanilla and cinnamon followed by base notes that reveal soft musk and amber and finally the intense aroma of coffee absolute.
